Materials & Construction: A Gen 4 base with an extra-thick 25.2mm EVA layer combined with throat-reinforcement foam.
Key Features / Strengths: Expands the sweet spot even more than Gen 4 Improved, with the highest level of edge and throat stability in the entire Gen 4 family.
Best For: Intermediate-to-advanced players who need maximum stability within the Gen 4 line before considering a move to premium cores (Gen 5, Aramid).
Advantages Over Other Cores: The most refined version of the Gen 4 family — the outsized EVA thickness narrows the performance gap with premium cores while keeping costs lower.
Select the elements you want to customize

Layer 1 — PP Honeycomb Core
The central core system of the paddle face, made up of even hexagonal cells roughly 9.3mm each. This structure keeps the paddle lighter, distributes impact force evenly, and delivers stable bounce — forming the foundation for a stable, lightweight, easy-to-control feel
Layer 2 — EVA (22.5mm): Edge Reinforcement
A 22.5mm-thick EVA layer runs along both sides of the paddle’s edge, surrounding the PP honeycomb core, to expand the sweet spot, reduce power loss on off-center hits, and improve softness and edge stability beyond both standard Gen 4 and Gen 4 Improved. It acts as a supportive ring and edge cushion, keeping off-center shots solid, low-vibration, and easier to control.
Layer 3 — Foam/Throat Reinforcement
Reinforces the throat area, increasing rigidity as force transfers from the face to the handle, improving torsion resistance, and giving powerful or off-center shots more stability — for a more solid, unified throat feel.
Layer 4 — Edge Foam
Holds the entire core together as a more unified structure, protects the core’s edge, increases structural strength and durability, and helps resist deformation at the rim.
