Materials & Construction: A PP honeycomb core + middle EVA + edge foam, with an added throat-reinforcement foam layer compared to Gen 3.
Key Features / Strengths: A more solid, unified throat, with noticeably improved torsion resistance on powerful shots — leaning more toward power than Gen 3.
Best For: Intermediate-to-advanced players with an attacking style who need throat stability for slams and smashes.
Advantages Over Other Cores: Handles sustained powerful shots better than Gen 3 thanks to throat reinforcement — a sensible step up between the standard line and higher-performance cores (Gen 5, Aramid).
Select the elements you want to customize

Layer 1 — PP Honeycomb Core
The primary core material found in most traditional pickleball paddles, reducing paddle weight, delivering stable bounce, and giving an easy-to-control feel — while remaining durable enough for repeated impact at a basic level.
Layer 2 — EVA (11mm): Edge Reinforcement
Acts as a supportive ring and edge cushion, expanding the sweet spot, reducing power loss on off-center hits, and improving softness and stability around the paddle’s edge.
Layer 3 — Foam/Throat Reinforcement
Reinforces the throat area, increasing rigidity as force transfers from the face to the handle, improving torsion resistance, and giving powerful or off-center shots more stability — for a more solid, unified throat feel.
Layer 4 — Edge Foam
Holds the entire core together as a more unified structure, protects the core’s edge, increases structural strength and durability, and helps resist deformation at the rim.
